A traditional sand and finish job can take 4-5 days. With our revolutionary process and finishes, we cut the time in half, and you’re back on your floor the minute we’re done.

How is this possible? It’s actually pretty cool. We use a unique hybrid finish, that is water-based, but oil-modified. It combines the best of both oil and water-based finishes. Like oil, it penetrates into the wood, enhancing the richness of the grain. Like water, it dries quickly and is more scratch resistant. The difference is that, because it’s oil-modified, we can infuse the finish with color.
Okay, but how does that cut down on time? By combining the color with the first coat of finish, we eliminate multiple steps. Normally, you would have to wait a full day after staining the floor before you could apply the 1st coat of finish. Not with Simply Floored. We apply the stain color and 1st coat at the same time.
But that’s not all. Because our finish is water-based, it dries very quickly, which allows us to apply as many as three coats in a single day.
Still not impressed? We use a 100% water-based finish for the third and final coat, and this unique finish is 100% instantly cured using special equipment that applies UltraViolet light to the finish. That means, once we have run this equipment over your floor, your new hardwood floor IS READY FOR USE IMMEDIATELY! No waiting 24 hours before furniture can be moved back, or up to a week before you can put your rug back. With our UV cured finish, you are back on your floor that day, and it is 3X as hard and scratch resistant as any other finish in the industry.
