1. What type of flooring do you offer?
Carpet, Hardwood, Laminate, Tile, Vinyl and Garage Coatings. We also refinish existing hardwood floors.
2. Can I have an estimate over the phone?
We have over 1,500 flooring options and the price varies depending on what you select and the size of your rooms. We offer a free in-home design consultation and our Design Consultant will be able to answer all of your questions and provide you with an exact quote for your job.
3. How much do you charge for installation per square foot?
The charge per square foot for installation is different for each type of flooring. The price that you will be quoted includes both the product and installation, as well as any transitions and other miscellaneous costs. We do not install products that we don’t sell, so we only provide a total price for the job.
4. Why is it important for all decisions makers to be present?
Our Design Consultant is going to cover a lot of information with you, and is prepared to answer all your questions. The best time to make the decision is when you have all the samples in front of you and there is someone who can answer all your questions. So if there is someone else who will be involved in the decision, it would be best if they could be there.
5. Do you offer financing?
We offer a number of different financing options through GreenSky, including options that require no deposit, no interest and no payments for a specified promotional period. Our Design Consultant can describe the different options to you and you can apply for credit right from your home.
6. What brand of hardwood do you carry?
Our hardwood flooring is made by Mannington, and it’s rated one of the best hardwoods on the market by Consumer Reports. We offer over 200 styles and colors of hardwood. Our Design Consultant will be happy to show you all of our hardwood options, right in your home. So the best thing to do is schedule a free consultation and see the hardwood for yourself.
7. Do you sell Travertine or Marble flooring?
We offer 100% porcelain tile, which has the look and feel of natural stone flooring, like Travertine or Marble, but is much more durable, easier to maintain, and significantly more affordable (i.e., less expensive). Simply Floored offers over 100 different styles, sizes and colors of porcelain tile, so you will definitely be able to find a tile that meets your style and budget.
8. How fast can I get my new flooring installed? How long will it take to complete the job once I make my decision?
Once we get the paperwork, our Project Administrator will call you to make sure the order is correct. At that point, we will order your materials and call you to schedule your installation.
We can typically complete your flooring job within two weeks of the sale date. The installation should only take 1 or 2 days, depending on the size of the job.
9. Will you move my furniture?
We will move your basic furniture as part of the project. However, you will be responsible for removing any personal items, such as china in a cabinet, before we move the cabinet. In addition, we don’t move electronics, glass tables or other valuables, which our Design Consultant will point out when he is at your home.
10. Is the installation “dust free”?
There is no such thing as a “dust free” installation. However, we can mask off certain areas and our installers will clean the job site when the job is completed.
11. Do you replace spindles on stairs?
No, we can replace the treads and risers, but NOT the spindles.
12. Are your installers bonded and insured?
All of our installers are fully insured and background checked for your added protection. In addition, our installers are trained to install the specific products that we offer so that your warranties are protected.
13. How long has your company been around? Are you local?
We have been in business since 2004. Last year alone, we installed over 1,000 new floors in Atlanta. With respect to our revolutionary garage coating product, we have partnered with Overhead Door, reflecting their confidence both in Simply Floored and our revolutionary garage coatings.
Our main office is in Vinings, but we offer a shop-at-home flooring service that covers all of the greater Atlanta area.
14. Do you have a store or showroom?
We actually bring the showroom to your home. Comparing samples at home, in your own lighting and decor, with a design consultant who can answer all your questions, is the best way to find the perfect floor.
15. Who makes your products? Whose products do you sell?
Mannington makes our hardwood, laminate & other hard surface flooring. Mannington is a leading flooring manufacturer and offers some of the best values in the industry. Mannington is rated #1 by Consumer Reports, and you can’t buy Mannington products at the large warehouse stores (because they refuse to sacrifice their quality to meet lower price points).
Our carpet is manufactured by Beaulieu of Dalton, Georgia, one of the three largest carpet manufacturers in the world.
